I will tell you what is not philosophy: is not philosophy to dirt the texts of the classic philosophers with fanciful interpretations of yourself , just to make a name of yourself or to build your curriculum. It is not philosophy to discuse all the eternity on subjects that have been already  dilucidated well in the past. It is not philosophy to lose your time on subjects that nobody reads, cares  or minds and that are of no use for Mankind.It is not philosophy to sell to the students of your classroom a lot of garbage that is of no use for nobody  except for you to make a living as a teacher of philosophy. It is real philosophy the Greek philosophy and some pages of what was written after the Greek to  the day. Most of neopositivism, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, bioethics, contemporary ethics ad contemporary logics are not philosophy at all, they are somewhat that nobody knows what it is and that is a perfect loss of time to read.
